Biography

I was born in 1989 in Bitlis Ahlat. I completed my primary education in Van Erciş. In 2003, I won Malatya Science High School. I completed my high school education between 2003-2007. In 2007, I won Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. In 2014, I completed my 7-year university education including English Preparatory Education. After graduation, I did compulsory service as a general practitioner in Ahlat State Hospital in Bitlis for 5 months.

Op. Dr. Umman Tunç is officially certified by the Turkish Ministry of Health for International Health Tourism. This authorization ensures that international patients receive medical services in compliance with global standards of safety, quality, and ethics. With this certificate, Dr. Tunç proudly welcomes patients from all over the world for expert surgical care in Turkey.

In 2014, I started my speciality training in Ankara Hospital ENT Diseases Department. In 2015, I transferred to Antalya Training and Research Hospital ENT Department and completed my speciality training here.

In 2019, I became an ENT Specialist. In the same year, I started my compulsory service in Burdur Gölhisar State Hospital as an ENT specialist and completed my compulsory service here in 2021. In 2021, I was appointed to Manavgat State Hospital. After a short time, I resigned from my post here and started to serve at Antalya Private Olympos Hospital.

As of 2023, I have been serving my patients in my practice in Antalya Konyaaltı.

In my current practice, I perform rhinoplasty (rhinoplasty surgery), revision rhinoplasty, septoplasty, as well as paediatric adenoid, tonsillectomy, snoring surgery and routine ENT diseases surgeries.

I attended many courses and congresses on rhinoplasty during and after my speciality training.
